Tomorrow is WestEndAngler’s annual Winter Trout Tournament for anyone that’s interested in fishing a fun/relaxed tournament. Last I heard there is somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 entries and there’s sure to be more because registration is open until right before the tournament starts. As long as you’re entered online before fishing time starts, which is 6:00am, you can participate.

The format is three trout with only one over 25″ and you can fish it with either one, two, or three-man teams. I’ll be fishing it and will be at the weigh-in, which closes at 5:00pm at West End Marina in Sea Isle on Galveston Island. There’s sure to be some big trout weighed in so even if you can’t fish it make it out to the weigh-in to see some gator trout.
