Duck Hunter’s Dream

I shot this video a few weeks back while in the Coastal Bend area fishing. Austin and I were fishing the Upper Laguna Madre and paddled up and a enormous flock of ducks sitting on the water. I tried to see how close I could get to them before they […]

Contrary to my lack of my posting activity I have been on the water several times recently, but there hasn’t been much to post. Fishing has been slow over the last couple of weeks because of the sporadic conditions; the weather has been all over the place. I have caught […]

Footage that Didn’t Make the Cut

Here’s some left over footage from the edits I made to the footage I shot over the last few weeks.

Got Mud Boils

Here’s a short video I put together of spooked reds. This footage was all taken on the same day and most was from a single paddle.

The water looked beautiful. We were in search of tackle and rigging testers and we found a few. No sightings of the Silver King but we did […]

Backs and Schools

If you watch carefully you can see some of the redfish swimming in the water before the hookup. I also spooked quite a few fish in this video that I ran over and had no idea they were there despite how shallow it was.

This past weekend was refreshing: the weather was nice, the fishing was good, and the company was great. Raymond and I fish together fairly regularly since I moved back to Houston this past summer but we’ve missed one of the fishing trio that we grew accustomed to growing up. Since […]
