This weekend on Saturday, November 12th is the first Family Fish Camp for the Lake Jackson, Texas chapter of Fishing’s Future. Fishing’s Future is a non-profit organization geared tow teaching parents and kids how to fish and enjoy the outdoors. Fishing’s Future was started by Shane Wilson to help educate families that are interested in fishing but don’t know where to start.

The Fish Camp will be held on Shy Pond in Lake Jackson, Texas. The camp is free of charge and everything is provided. Drinks and snacks will also be served. All you have to do is show if you’re interested in learning more about the sport. Tony Gonzalez is the chapter coordinator. He along with a few other knowledgeable anglers will be on hand to help aid families in learning the nuances of the sport.
